If I tell you I went to Austria in January to see one show, which one would you think I chose? Comedy or ballet?
The whole month of September, I will share 30 stories with you. One story each day. You will find out how I travelled, what countries I called home and how many times I repeated a travel in the same place. But most importantly, you will get to know my comfort zone stories. Would you share yours?
Did I want to see Bill Burr on his European Tour or the Ballet Play Nutcracker? This was back in January 2019. If you guessed both, then congrats, you understand me! So that was two dreams in two that I managed to make true in one trip. And they both didn’t disappoint.
It was a very cheap, short, direct flight to Vienna. Pro tip: skip the holiday trips and get yourself a January ticket way cheaper and you still have plenty of holiday spirit left around. It was my first time in that part of Europe (hahaha) and since I stayed just a few days, I didn’t visit much. It was also then that I took my first break from Instagram. I am currently in another break from it (stop posting in March 2022), but what I said then still stands. Do you recognise the chosen photo?

During my travels, I usually visit churches. Not related to a specific religion, but because I am fascinated by the architecture of the building. Since I walk a lot during my travels, it’s also the place where I go to rest for a few moments. I enjoy the quietness that comes with it. I explored the subject more in another article, naming some of my favourite spiritual buildings.
Christmas is less than 100 days away. So, in a way, this throwback was perfect. Are there any other Christmas lovers around here?
